He’s part of the migration of earthquake scientists from Caltech to USC in the 70s, as the only

student among the group of senior and junior faculty members and post-doctoral researchers.

Dr. Lee digitized many of the earliest (1933-) analog earthquake records, in the team of also

Compiling ALL of the 1971 Sylmar (Los Angeles) Earthquake records while going to CalTech.

Dr. Vincent Lee's “O” License Plate. It says He’s an "Old Trojan", from when he’s a graduate student there from 76 to 79!

It looks like he will keep his "vanity" license plate for many more years.

I guess once you’re a Trojan, you’re a Trojan for life! It applies well to him.
